I gave this mount 2 stars because it's a good idea with a lazy design. Charger. I like the ease of use. You simply drop the phone into the mount and when the weight reaches the bottom support, the sides slide inward, clamping and holding the phone. I think it's a nice simple design. I think this will probably take quite a while because it's not as heavy as some of the motorized clamp mounts. (Fewer moving parts, so they're probably less likely to stop working.) The problem with the mount is that when you put the MagSafe charger in the mount and your Place iPhone 12 in the holder. That way the coils never line up and it never charges. I really wish this would work. If you just want to use it as a mount (for any phone) then that might be fine. But if you plan on charging MagSafe, then this isn't for me.
