Let me start by saying that before trying them I only used Apple Barrel brand paints so it was like day and night between them. These colors are thick, and I mean really thick! They glide across both canvas and mixed media paper. I had no problems applying the paint. I bought them because Jane's YouTube channel where I watch tutorials always uses this brand of paint and she never seems to say anything bad about them. So to achieve some of the looks I wanted, my other cheaper paints were too runny. Let's get to the flowers. I liked almost all the colors I tried. Keep in mind that I haven't tried all the colors yet. Although I had to purchase tubes in both white and black before, keep that in mind if you're considering buying this set. I think this is a great starter pack, but you will run out of certain colors a lot quicker than you think! Pros: You can check the quality of the colors before spending money on individual tubes and find your favorite shades. Cons: I wish they had included dual tubes in Martian Black and Titanium White, but that's about the only negative I can think of! :) All successful painting!
