Review on πŸ„ INNO Racks: Locking Surfboard Roof Rack - Ultimate Water Sport Car Top Mount by Wayne Flores

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better than I expected

== Update after longer use === I like it even more after a few uses. I timed it: it takes 25 seconds to pull a board out of my garage and load it onto a rack. It takes 18 seconds to take it off the shelf and put it away. I didn't even put my short board in the car. It's easier to just toss it on the shelf. I removed the shelf for a couple of rides and it took me about 2 minutes to put it back in the car. Some of the best money I've ever spent. == Original Review ==* Easy to install on my factory poles in minutes. Same bracket as ski carrier, same manufacturer. Much better than the Thule mount on my bike rack. Once it's set up, there's no more streaming. Just release the latch and it will pop right out or back up. Simple, fast and safe. I want to buy a beer from the engineer who developed it.* Very easy to use. Throw the boards there. Fasten the loop. Turn it down.* Holds boards more securely than the straps and pads I've used before. There is no risk of the boards slipping from side to side, so you don't have to turn the boards as often. With straps, I've always felt like I have to tighten them really tight to keep my longboard from moving.* No more strapping across the car and running in circles.* I carry a big, fat longboard and a funboard. Another plank fits in easily.* BONUS: Because the planks are slightly taller than the railings, you'll have a little more room if you have a back door. The tailgate on my FX 35 now lifts slightly before hitting the board. This thing took my biggest pain out of surfing and made it easier. Just worth the money. Buy one.
