In my opinion you get injured with this ladder. The design of the ladder is fantastic except that the legs on the stabilizer are hard plastic. Installing on hardwood, ceramic tile, or any other smooth surface makes stairs a hazard. I hope the manufacturer has a lot of liability insurance! Rigid plastic legs won't stick to the floor. Placing this ladder against a wall at an acceptable angle reduces the foot contact area to almost nothing. It can be great for carpet or dirt, but don't use it on hard, smooth floors. I bought it to get into the attic and I couldn't even get it to stay on the wall because it kept sliding out. I'm an engineer and I couldn't imagine the design of this ladder without the sturdy rubber feet. It could only be tested and manufactured on a very rough surface.
