These are very good shoes for the price. Very good grip on the sole, as in good running shoes and 2 ways of fastening with Velcro on the foot and above the foot with V hole to facilitate stepping over the paws. The disappointment was that all the shoes I found. None of them go far enough up the leg past what we would call my dog's ankle. They didn't go far enough over the foot to fully secure them. My dog has very large paws and a thick coat, so maybe that's an important factor. I would highly recommend them to all dogs that aren't big furry monsters!
