This belt is smooth and sleek under my shirt. Because my hips are wider than my waist, they look better under a shirt than over a shirt. It's still comfortable on my skin and sits well on the waistband of my leggings. It remains comfortable after many kilometers of walking at a good pace. I reduced the number of sprockets because I might have preferred a longer strap so I could rest it on my hips and slouch in the front. If you are small this is not a problem, but if you are a little taller this may not be possible.
