Review on Chefman InstaCoffee Max: Bold Single-Serve Coffee Made Easy with Grounds or K-Cups, Convenient Built-In Lift by Josh Schweitzer

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Compactness and speed of brewing. Advantages and disadvantages. UPDATE: Sent back as defective!

*** The pump is defective after 10 days. Only 1/3 of the water is poured out. Return as defective! *** Only drank 24 hours and brewed 3 cups K-Cup so far. Bought it just for the speed. Pros: Fast as advertised. 22-35 seconds from button press to pour (12 oz.). 12 oz expires in 2:10 - 2:20, ready to eat. Nice raised lockable tray (but only one) with rubber padding to better hold the mug. Very compact. Cons: The cord is only 2 feet long. If your output falls outside of that, you'll have to move things around. The water tank (14oz max) is a bit narrow compared to others, you need to be careful not to pour water overboard when filling. Just an elevated base. max cup height 4 1/2" for elevated setting. The coffee isn't as hot compared to the other two single shot machines I've tried (Keurig & Sboly), probably because it's built for speed. Always not too bad yet.but if you want your coffee almost on fire look elsewhere.haven't used the coffee grounds option and won't since using k-cups.item for speed.
