I have a JNM3161DF1CC GE microwave. About 9 months ago the lightbulb under the microwave on the right blew out. So I bought an expensive GE replacement bulb to replace it. 2-3 weeks later the bulb burned out again. I was dissatisfied, especially since the original light bulbs are quite expensive. So I decided to try these replacement bulbs. By the way, they are dimmable, so that's not a problem. But they also burn out after about 2-3 weeks. I have concluded that the lamp socket on the right side of the microwave is defective. NOT pears. I will continue to buy these inexpensive replacement bulbs because it's cheaper than paying a technician to fix/replace the bulb socket. Even if it is repairable given the age of my microwave. I just wanted to clarify the problem of the malfunction of the lamps. I've read many reviews on the GE OEM website complaining about the bulbs burning out after a few weeks. This just confirms to me that this is a defect in the microwave part, not the lightbulbs.
