Review on 🔧 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit for 2012-2018 Ford Focus, 2.0L L4: High Performance, Increased Horsepower – Compatible, 69-3517TS by Edwin Kreps

Factory air box removal went great, installation went great, it was my first time installing CAI, I read the instructions, it wasn't very clear which bushings to use and where, it was difficult to see photos in detail, if they assign a number to each part/screw and name them that, it would be better. Although that's not exactly what I'm aiming for. My problem with this unit, after installing all the hardware, I put the air filter in place and tightened the clamp and I heard a popping noise, then the filter came loose. I see the plastic on the tube that connects to the air cleaner is cracked. I was able to loosen the clamp and put the filter back in place, but now whenever I hit a bump it comes loose. I'll probably have to buy another one. I blame the factory for using such cheap plastic, I really didn't tighten the yoke tight enough to break anything. So, in hindsight, when installing the air filter, be VERY careful, push it all the way in and tighten thoroughly.
