So far so good. Identical OEM cap design, very hard to find. The OEM cap is 1.1 bar for Subaru 3.6 H6 (higher than 0.9 bar for 2.5 H4). It's not too much of a difference from the factory specs, but it can give you extra heat in the coolant before it overflows into the coolant surge tank. Never had a problem with the car cooling. It's just nice to have a TX in the heat. In addition, coolant caps are wearing parts. At 168,000 miles the old cover became brittle and rough when removed. Original KoyoRad product. IMHO, a no-brainer for 3.6 if you live in the south. I don't expect the car to drive or behave any differently, but I'll update here if I notice any deviation from the factory radiator cap (which has been solid so far). ).
