I went downstairs to check on my sea turtle and noticed that she was quite lethargic. I immediately noticed something was wrong as he became very lethargic and I noticed the water temperature was 38 degrees. I tested this water heater and the LED screen keeps flashing "E1". The heater failed overnight and could have killed my pet turtle. I immediately replaced this heater with my original 100w heater. I'm afraid to use this heater again as it might freeze my turtle to death. I would avoid this device. Update: This is one of the most disappointing purchases of all time. It flashes E1 no matter how deep it is underwater. I tried to contact the seller but I can't. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
