Firm, hard handles on my Hansgrohe fitting
My widespread Hansgrohe interactive fitting has had very hard turning handles for many years. I replaced the hot and cold ones and now they are smooth and spin easily. Two wrenches and 20 minutes for the whole job, all done above the vanity top. I wish I had replaced them many years ago.
