I have several bicycles with different handlebar diameters. I bought two of these. They are supplied with two rubber grommets for different handlebar diameters. I rode a century yesterday on my new mount. As I was crossing a wooden bridge, my front wheel locked and I flipped the steering wheel. The steering wheel withstood the impact, but the bracket did not. My Elemnt (full size, not Bolt) was still attached. Although there was no direct impact, it is likely that my handlebar bag got tangled in the bracket. Conclusion - the mount survived a fairly strong incident and held Elemnt.
