I just finished the installation and it wasn't easy due to the location of the bottom lock. On the passenger side, the air intake had to be removed for installation. what is my problem The instructions state that the top latch uses four pan head screws. The four pieces that came in the box looked like the picture shown. They look more like countersunk screws than pan head screws. The "tools required" lists a 4mm wrench, but the supplied bolts require 3mm, and the nuts require an 8mm deep socket because they are that long, not 10mm as the instructions say. Not the product's fault, but to get to the hood latch nuts you have to disassemble them a bit, especially on the passenger side to access it with a ratchet. The kit also included two large nuts, which aren't needed as the latch assembly had screws already permanently attached (at least I couldn't figure out what they were for). The latches appear to be pretty solid once they're done, and we're hoping they take some of the hood wobble away.
