After being foolish enough to leave gas on my Harbor Freight / Chicago Electric Generator since the last time I used it, the engine would not even start with electric start. After realizing what was wrong, I contacted a few local repair shops and found that it would cost me at least $70 just to have them look at it. A guy told me that if it's a carburetor it's about $200 each and it's going to take about 3 weeks before he can even look at it and another 2 weeks to fix it once he gets the parts can get. After searching the web and looking at several options. I stopped there on Revain. After figuring out what I was doing wrong and correcting my mistake, the engine ran flawlessly. There was no need to adjust the needle valve or throttle. Now the engine runs like new, if not better. Now it starts on the first pull, which was not the case when it was new. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. I have been able to get my generator running in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost that a professional repair shop would charge and achieve the same quality repair that cost me over 10 times what I did paid for it.
