I always keep at least one of those little jagged shower and bathroom drain cleaners on hand. It's a godsend when hair clogs drains, which is a fact of life for everyone I know. As you plunge them into the drain zone, do so slowly and gradually. If you push it all the way in on the first try, it can break off in the sewers and THIS will require a plumber. Instead, loosen it a little, wiggle it a little, and pull it out again. If there is a hair blockage, it will come out with a small ball of hair. Keep doing this, a little deeper at a time, until you stop pulling your hair and the drain starts moving.
