The lights were easy to set up and the app works well. Something like the Phillips Hue might have more features, but you also pay more for it. These are great budget alternatives. My only complaint and why I can't give five stars is the Alexa integration. In the app I can set effects like a strobe light or have the bulbs change from one color to another at the desired speed. However, I can say something like, "Alexa, turn all the lights on blue." I can't say, "Alexa, turn on the flash." I emailed Feit about this, hoping I was just sending the wrong ones using commands and they replied that this is not a feature. Also, some smart bulbs, including this one, have issues with Alexa Routines in terms of brightness adjustment. Colors tend to be unresponsive. For those who don't know, when you set up a routine, you choose the smart home, the lightbulb you want to react to, and give you three things: turn it on/off, adjust the brightness, and change the color . I would first check the brightness setting and set the bulb to 100% brightness. However, the bulb often does not respond to the color change step. If I had a procedure that would set all the lights to red, one or more of the lights would not change at all. You must REMOVE the brightness setting. A small problem because if you previously had dimmed lights, you have to take an extra step to set the lights to full brightness with another command.
