Not easy to use

I embroider and frame most of my work. I figured this type of hoop would give me products that were easier to frame than traditional round hoops. Although the dimensions are closer to the size of the frame, it is very difficult to incorporate fabric-covered batting into these devices. I had to use a Phillips screwdriver to get the tires tight enough. Still, the material crumbles before I'm done with the project. Last night I gave up and embroidered without a hoop. I would not recommend these
