Being an older (70+) lady I was hoping these magnets would work on my almost 40yr old kitchen cabnets to hold the doors closed. Well, they certainly do that, BUT they work so well that the glue strips pull right off when I try to open the doors. I didn't want to have to drill holes in my cabinets (mainly because I don't do well with drills and such) and stand on a ladder to put them on the top of the cabinet doors.If you are willing and able to use a drill to screw them to your cabinets (and drawers) these will work wonders. You will have to use a little oomph to pull them open!I will have to get someone (a handyman) to come to install these.but otherwise I like them.
