I'm just sharing my experience with this seller: I bought this stand in Spring April 2014 and under normal circumstances I wouldn't waste time on it. This problem but I think it's not normal. I installed this spring when it arrived and have not ridden my bike since. My bike has not only been on a lift since April 2014 except to wash it. I washed it last weekend and when I tried to use my stand the feather looked like the picture. (There should be a hook on both ends, a hook is just bent by itself) Something is wrong with the spring as I believe it has not been used. This spring wasn't even pressurized. I understand this part is covered by a 1 year warranty but given the circumstances I would like to continue this business. I am not about money or even my time to replace and review this supplier. I think it's important how this supplier handled it. They wanted nothing to do with it at all. Just pass me on to Kuryakin who will replace this part with no problem. I think if this supplier treats customers for a few bucks, how is he going to take care of his customers for other items?
