I love the LS41 headset. I pre-ordered this headset a few months ago and it was really worth the wait. This is a great headset; much better than the sony gold headset i used before. They feel solid, the sound quality is exceptional, and installation was quick and easy. I've only been using them for a day, but so far I'm really impressed! I would normally wait before posting a review, but I love the LS41 so much I thought it was worth checking out. However, I will update this review if I encounter any setbacks or spot any flaws. The sound quality of the LS41 headset is excellent. Deep bass, crisp mids and crisp highs make for a very satisfying gaming experience. The LS41 headset completely outperforms the Sony Gold. I hear every little detail, especially sounds I hadn't heard before. Voices and footsteps are loud and clear, and (with surround sound in the game) it's very easy to tell where the sounds are coming from. Everything just sounds better. The boom microphone is another strength of the LS41. My voice sounds much clearer than before. My friends took notice in the team chat and said "You sound so much better today" even before I mentioned the new headset. The construction is solid. The LS41 looks sturdy and well built. The metal frame adds weight, but they don't feel heavy on my head even after 5 or 6 hours of play. Lucid Sound has really had some success with the volume controls. They are simple and intuitive. The left ring controls game volume while the right ring controls chat volume. Pressing the left button mutes the game audio, and pressing the right button mutes the microphone. Another nice touch is the red LED on the microphone that shows when the microphone is muted. You can also choose to control your own voice or not. I decided to leave it enabled. Finally, connecting the LS41 headset to my PS4 Pro was quick and easy. The QR code in the brochure links to a video that guides you through the PS4 setup process. Just follow the instructions and you'll be set up in no time. Remember to click "chat only" in the device menu, otherwise the volume control will not work properly. Keep in mind that if you want surround sound (which is one of the reasons you bought this headset), you'll need to plug in both a USB dongle and an optical cable. I used one of the rear USB ports to keep the front ports available and I had no problems. Overall I am very happy with this headset!
