First; This was fitted to an SUV where the second seat could be slid forward to touch the first seat. This eliminated the need to install a hammock and became a wicker seat cover. I had no problems with the quality of the product. The material is strong, the seams are well stitched, the closures are well reinforced. The size is big enough to fit in a large SUV so there shouldn't be a problem with smaller cars. The height of the panels is high enough to adequately reach the tops of the seats. The brackets were perfectly positioned to mount around the headrest. The material is easy to clean with a damp cloth and dry with a simple microfiber cloth. This product also features a nice zipper in the side flaps that keeps pets and pets away from the car door panels to keep any items from falling out of the panel. When closed, these panels are strong enough that you don't even need the support straps that are included. The product also has a very pleasant appearance and fits well into the interior. It can be easily removed to access half the passenger seat or the entire seat for full use of the second row of seats. It can also serve as a good cargo hold shelter if you want your pet to ride in the rear compartment. Now I gave 5 stars because it was exactly as described and was the standard it claimed to be. There are several issues related not to quality but to usage.1. The first issue was the front panel material - a solid rectangle. This caused the air conditioning to throttle from front to rear and blocked all the air vents in the center console in the back seat. I ended up having to remove and reattach the edge in the center section (see photo) to allow for proper airflow. A zippered flap or mesh panel would be the best design.2. Buckles for headrest straps are located on the shoulder straps. This presses the hard plastic into the leather of the seats. If the buckles were sewn directly to the panels, you wouldn't have a piece of hard plastic cutting into the leather seats. I'm considering taking the hard plastic buckles off and just clipping the straps together. The zipper for the two side door panels is on the inside of the flaps. To open, you have to reach into the seat and not just open it from the outside. However, this product has these side panels which, despite the design issues, are still much better for the pet and vehicle than the ones that don't have side panels. Overall, the design issues have not affected the quality and use of the product, so I highly recommend this product. As a final added bonus, it's a great food storage system so you don't have to search under the seat for items that have fallen out of pockets!
