After returning home from out of state and using the GPS on my phone and it kept crashing or trying to see the map on my phone while driving, I knew that I had to buy something to keep my landline phone. I have a Mazda CX-9 where the center console is not designed to use a phone cup holder. I found this item very easy to install. It attaches to my vent and there are small pins on the ends of the legs that hold the device securely in the vent and prevent it from slipping back out of the vent. It holds the weight of my phone very well. It fits my phone very well and keeps it secure. My phone also fits in a protective case. Extremely easy to use. Simply push the button and the side arms expand to place your phone in the holder, then simply squeeze the side arms to lock your phone securely in the holder. Great buy for me.
