We bought 2 of these. I personally LOVE mine and literally use it all the time for cold drinks. Drinks stay very cold on hot days and I can take them anywhere. You don't have to worry about spills etc. Plus I can fill it to the top and when I screw the cap back on there's no spilling. as in some cases a lot of space is needed before the lid is screwed on otherwise it will overflow. Also perfect for the beach. as I had no problem digging the cup in the sand a few inches to keep it from tipping over. If it gets wet outside, the sand will be washed clean (as there are no ridges for anything to stick to). Just be careful not to roll the top in the sand. as sand can get stuck in the hole that becomes part of the straw when flipped over (I actually got some sand in my mouth without knowing it). Anyway, my husband, on the other hand, is a major defect and should be covered by some sort of warranty. but as far as I know it doesn't work. Its flaw lies in the non-spilling spout of the lid. I've included a few options. If you look to the right where the spout should be pushed up by tiny plastic tabs built into the spout. This part of the cover has a fairly large gap. Turquoise is ok. So look at the gap in black. Also, photo #2 shows the cause of the gap. Sippy stands upright when open and you can suck up liquid without air or it sounds like air bubbles. and Black sits askew, diagonally to the left. As a result, the leak-proof spout sucks in the liquid along with the air, creating a bubble that sounds like sucking through a straw when there's nothing left. If I push the spout to the right while drinking. helps. However, the cause of this accident. As a result, this bottle is not completely sealed and my husband had copious leaks everywhere many times. We walked down the drain leaving the mug in the car. My guess is that the heat in the car in summer caused the cup to build up pressure inside and the liquid poured out from the top like a volcano. What a mess. For that I only give 3 stars. 5 stars for me and zero for him. Hope this review helps!
