New design, or maybe not better?

The part fitted well, I wasn't very impressed with its play, the old one was dangling a bit so I thought of replacing it. The new one was about the same. I'm sure it will work, but I'm not sure it will last as long as the original.

Pros

CRAZY STRONG LEVER. The forged intermediate links are made from one of the hardest steels in the world. Forged SAE4140 chrome-molybdenum studs are housed in SAE1045 forging bodies that are heat treated for strength and durability, and each mounting surface is CNC machined for a precise fit and finish. Each unit is sealed with custom CR rubber boots for maximum durability.
