I received this shelf a few days earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Immediately put my new Ampeg SVT-7Pro in its new home. The mounting hardware was solid and fitted snugly into the case with the lids closed. The back of the Ampeg sticks out about 2 inches when the back cover is removed, but I like that. This allows the amp to breathe as there is not only a fan on the back but also a vent on the left side of the amp head. In my opinion it looks better on my Ampeg Classic 6x10 than on the extra deep rack case that hangs on the back of the cab. The case is solid, and while it's not the most durable case, it will definitely do the job. I ended up putting some rubber pads under the back of the amp's head to keep it from just floating backwards. Seems durable and I am very happy with my purchase. Looks clean as can be.
