This is a volumizing mascara but not so dramatic that you can't wear it on a daily basis. I don't know if I notice more length from it, but it's a thicker formula. I think if you're not careful it can get too thick, maybe clumpy, but nothing you can't fix with a clean mascara stick or spool. Although you should pay attention, I don't think it's advanced. Someone who still plays with mascara can use it if they're ok with the volume, just be a little careful the first few times. For me personally, this was one of those mascaras that got better after it dried a bit. I really liked it, if I found it in the nearest store that sold the balm I would grab another tube.
