You are more interested in politics than in people

The product has potential, but I think I'm in trouble. From day one, this computer makes the same noise as my Mr. Coffee machine at the end of a fresh coffee brew. I bought this computer to work from home at my new part-time job. Back then, the noise from Mr Coffee didn't bother me much since I only worked on it 5-10 hours a week. However, with COVID devastating both the cruise industry and my full-time job, part-time work has been able to fill the gaps. Now I sit at this computer 30-40 hours a week and the seepage is getting under my skin. Daylight windows and that he can't do anything. I asked again thinking maybe an exception could be made as this is my first time contacting them and I am not familiar with their policies or protocol. Moments later, I get an email from Alan, arguably the worst customer service manager in the world. This guy started yelling at me over email. I've never been yelled at in a professional setting before. You will not break any rule or policy to offer me a working computer that will not embarrass me in front of customers or colleagues for reporting a problem after the 90 day window. What this company doesn't understand is that we are living in a pandemic, most of us have neighbors, family and friends who are dying. You should think twice before hugging your elderly parent or young child. The last thing that came to my mind was the 90 day window. However, they seem to care more about politics than people, which is a real shame.

Pros
  • Making people happy
Cons
  • Obsolete model
