I was replacing a worn out idler pulley when my 2500 GMC Sierra HD2500 diesel idler pulley broke. I also swapped another idler pulley. Although the mounting tabs on the back of the pulley weren't quite the same as my original, it works great. The original had a round stem at the bottom and an extended one at the top to connect to the engine block. This pulley has two round brackets protruding, but it fits with no problem. This can be done by working with several different vehicles.
