Review on ECOELER 3-Way Motion Sensor Light Switch, Neutral Wire Required | UL Listed & FCC Approved Indoor Activated Switch | 1 Pack by Raffy Baer

A great solution for lights in a stairwell

I purchased two Ecoeler motion control switches for a stairwell that leads down to our garage/basement. In our case, the staircase has a landing halfway down. Following the instructions, I was got the new switches working and they seem to work great. Motion at either the top or bottom of the stairs triggers the lights to go on for an adjustable amount of time. One thing I wish these switches enabled was an override that leaves the light on until manually turned off: most of the time, we want motion to control the lights, but in certain cases (like vacuuming the stairs), it would be nice to be able to force the lights to stay on. I've also noticed that sometimes the motion sensor will seem to experience a delay, where the lights come on a second or two after detecting motion. All told, I would recommend these switches given my experience so far.

Pros
  • ✔3-WAY SWITCH: This motion sensor occupancy switch is a 3-way switch allowing the lights to turn on from multiple switch locations in the room.
Cons
  • May not work well in homes with multiple floors or large square footage
