I have purchased products from AQQA before so I was confident this tank sucker would work. And so it is! I agree with other reviews about assembly instructions; they are not very well written and the graphics are a bit confusing. But after a few tries I figured out how to screw the inner tube to the right height, thread the cord through the handle and put the plastic screws in where they should be. this is my first vacuum of this type, i can't say this vacuum is better than the other. It's definitely better than the crappy battery powered one I had before; This one is very quiet and the adjustable length keeps my hands off the tank. The ON/OFF switch could have been a bit higher on the cord, but I think the switch is where it should accommodate the longer length. I haven't tried all attachments; The two I tried upon opening the package were sand and water intake attachments and they do what they are supposed to do. I've found that the water pickup attachment sucks up coarse rock gravel fairly easily and blocks the suction (just to show you how strong the suction is), so don't repeat my mistake. I had to use a sand washing attachment (yes!), the instructions clearly state that this attachment is for washing coarse gravel.
