So I have some time without puppies to decide if we like it. When we got her she weighed 1.2 pounds and now she weighs 3.9 and the whole time the problem has been that even though there is a butt it doesn't allow the pup to be flat enough not to get up anyway to lie on the side. as it does not sit directly on your body. The head hole is set very high so it might seem for a much larger dog, but in this case they won't fit in because there is room for a small dog, say up to 5 pounds. We've added a pillow inside so the pup can be on top to stick her head out, but the laces are flimsy so she only has to lift one paw and the holes are wide enough for her to climb out from the side. so does she. So when I walk with her I have to keep one hand down so she's fairly flat and then one on top of the head hole when she's awake so she doesn't release her hands in any way. but I'm keeping this as I've tried others with no panties and they've been horrible and I've tried another with bottoms and got the same results so it's as good or bad as any other and it's not like they do it daily in it is . So it wasn't the best buy, but I don't hate it.
