It took me a few months to figure this out but the meter is off by 11 pounds. This was the only working pressure gauge I had at the time of purchase and after inflating the car tires I kept getting a pressure warning from the car computer. I thought it was a tire pressure sensor. I finally got my car serviced a few weeks ago and found the sensor to be fine. My tires were inflated 10-11 pounds. Then I went and bought a manual pressure gauge and made sure that gauge was 11 pounds off (which means I inflated my tires 11 pounds to get to the gauge and read the recommended tire pressure. I also checked both valve types. Of course now I've gone through Amazon's return period and I'm very upset.
