16 reusable plastic containers for storing meals or groceries with separate compartments. A large square the size of a sandwich. It fits in a double-decker PB&J car and leaves room. It has enough food for an adult but is too big for small packed lunches. Kids will love it because you can put lots of snacks/fruits/vegetables inside. Portion sizes are good. The lids hold up well and they stack up nicely in my fridge. If you wash them in the dishwasher, they will deform and the lids will be difficult to put on. We've learned how to hand wash if we want them to last. Three people in our family use them. It's cheaper than using nine bags a day to pack our lunches, but more importantly, it's better for the planet. Yes they will end up in landfill but before that we will get hundreds of uses while bags are single use containers. This is a great money-saving alternative. I recommend them.
