I'm only giving them a 3 because they're too expensive for a 5.25 inch speaker. That's right - a 5.25 inch stock door speaker for the Chevy Silverado 99 (and many others), NOT a 6.5 or 6.75, despite what online "experts" and "audiophiles" verbosely write. The hole is 5.5" and a 6, 6.5, 6.75" speaker will be front loaded depending on frame configuration (requires hole drilling), but this speaker is DEFINITELY OEM for the 99 Silverado. However, they sound damn good, but they can't quite match the output that the factory radio/CD puts out - low frequency distortion (bass boost). I had a Silverado 03 with the same speakers but the radio/cd/cassette didn't have the power to drive them. It depends on who got the contract for GM or AC-Delco in a given year. Hope that helps. I went around and around and ended up having to remove the door panels to figure out exactly which speaker to order.
