Works great to get internet to my custom shop!

So far it has worked great for my purposes. I have a big house and the main router is in the middle of the house. I just built a new shop and it's probably 25 meters or so from my house. I use an Asus Lyra mesh system to cover my house and it gets a signal most of the way to the barn but not close enough. I tried powerline ethernet but for some reason couldn't get it to save from home even though it shares a common electrical system. So I bought this as a last resort before collapsing trying to bring the ethernet to the store. So now I use a powerline adapter to connect the internet to the side of my house, then I connected the powerline to an antenna and this is installed in a window. I installed another antenna on a rack outside my store and routed it inside through a window to a POE adapter and then connected it to a router in my store. I get about the same speed when I connect my power line to my laptop with an ethernet cable that I connect to the store's Wi-Fi, so there's basically no speed or signal loss when it's through a window and the soundboard goes through my garden and the antenna should not be installed exactly in a straight line but should be installed as close to it as possible. Setup was pretty easy as I only use mine in bridge mode. Plug it in, plug in the other, make sure one is set to A and the other to B and it was pretty much plug and play.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Having problems
