Review on πŸ”₯ Ultimate Survival Tool: Refillable Floating Lighter for Outdoor Adventures - Waterproof, Windproof, and Impact Resistant Construction by Nicole Fisher

BEST AT HIGH HIGH, the best lighter on the market!

This lighter works great at over 11,000 feet! I've tried dozens of lighters for use at altitude. All others begin to fail above 7000 feet and most stop working above 8000 feet. I've spent $100 testing all types of lighters, some costing $50 or more. This lighter performed flawlessly at over 11,000 feet. The bottom line is to adjust the butane to a LOWER setting at altitude to compensate for less oxygen. At the bottom of the lighter itself is a small adjustment ring that allows you to reduce the amount of butane gas mixture. Set it to minus. The real lighter is a separate piece that fits into the orange cap. Set it to LESS butane at altitude. I've tried dozens of lighters at every mixture setting on those lighters. It's the only thing that works reliably at high altitude. Low Bic lighters always work, at any height, without adjustment. However, the windshield is the main selling point of this lighter and the flashlight aspect works better with many things in the camping world. The whole lighter weighs 0.9 ounces and I omit the orange cap and just use the lighter inside to save the 0.3 ounces that the orange cap weighs. The internal lighter has a transparent fuel tank so you can easily see how much fuel is left. This thing is a height winner!
