This is the third one I have received. I have two of the same size and one smaller. The smaller one was for the cat that found my doorstep. It was a street cat, but domesticated, not wild. But it was not possible to bring it into the house. The woman is allergic. So he stayed outside, but he stayed in a well insulated box with a small heater. It was comfortable, like a bug in a rug. I got big ones for my dog boomer. I like to have a backup just in case. He too is dead happy. He's outside too. But don't feel sorry for him. He lives in the shed where my tractor is. His box is seven (7 feet) long with a heated vestibule. His box attached to the lobby has this heater. The crate is insulated on all 6 sides with 6" foam. He has a window in a crate, a Serta mattress, a duvet, and a pillow, also in that crate. And a dog door on both his crate and in the lobby .As well as a plate of heated water outside its box.In the summer it has a fan to keep it cool when it's not too hot.And air conditioning when it's hot.Some of my friends complain that they don't goes well The heater keeps his box toasted for him and he loves it.
