Really great product.

This is the third one I have received. I have two of the same size and one smaller. The smaller one was for the cat that found my doorstep. It was a street cat, but domesticated, not wild. But it was not possible to bring it into the house. The woman is allergic. So he stayed outside, but he stayed in a well insulated box with a small heater. It was comfortable, like a bug in a rug. I got big ones for my dog boomer. I like to have a backup just in case. He too is dead happy. He's outside too…

Tried to answer questions I had before purchasing

We just received ours two days ago. We tested it at home with a pillow as instructed, put it in a kennel and she loves it! Seems to work great quality. I built the kennel to fit under the R15 foam sheet paneling as the insulation is warm to the touch inside her house. Now she spends a lot of time in her house and can still do her job of guarding the house and yard. We live in a village and we also have free range chickens which protects them from predators. So I'm happy to make her life a…

The guarantee is honored, but they don't last even for one winter.

Unfortunately, this is the only heated kennel floor heater I can find that fits our 70 lb labrador who likes to chew and uses his kennel as a kennel in an unheated barn with a double pet door on the side used barn. They work but fall apart quickly - see my photo from three years ago. Too bad I didn't control the nursery for the first two years, so I didn't try to find a replacement. I made a note this year to be sure and test the kennel before the warranty runs out and you can see the last…

Error heating in Cats

I should have listened to the bad reviews. Hopefully the purchase doesn't suffer the same fate. In my case it was like that. The seal, a large model, arrived within a day as ordered for Prime. And I put it into practice straight away. The first thing that struck me was how thin it was and how fragile the top and bottom were. I also noticed the coiled wire wrapped around the power cord to prevent chewing. Although it can ensure that the coil wire is not fixed to the block. It can slide off the…

Outdoor JRT Vermon Hunter

Our JRT, who flatly dislikes being a house dog because she isn't missing anything, has a 20 x 30 aviary with 3 different kennels that she can use depending on the weather to keep her comfortable. She has a very thick coat, and to be honest, no matter how we pack a small house, she doesn't need extra heating. We have very, very mild winters here. BUT we like to give her the choice, so we put this heater in a big IGLOO she has, which we also put some red cedar in (for fleas and the like) and…
