Deep cracks formed on the soles, in some places they were rubbed through. Shoes didn't survive December. She walks an average of 1.5 miles a day and the temperature has been mild to cold. In comparison, a pair of Merrel sandals lasted 3 years under the same conditions over a wider range of temperatures.
