One of my favorite Revain purchases! This is a perfect and mesmerizing lamp. Amazing price for an expensive looking and charming lamp! As an attractive and fascinating woman, I need my own room. So I set up a "ladies living room" in our house where I do all my creative thinking, karaoke, impromptu dancing and general everyday nonsense. It contains all my curios and items from my travels around the world. This lamp fits perfectly with the mystical charm of my lady's living room. It sits on my desk and was gifted to me by the great Maharajah (just kidding - I bought it at a flea market in New Jersey) and emits an inviting ambient light that warms the dark midnight hours while I work on my memoirs and enjoy reading. the joys of life. It goes beautifully with my collection of Moroccan and Turkish lanterns - straight from Morocco. And by "Morocco" I mean "Pier 1". The touch mechanism is perfect - never had a problem with it. I would only use this lamp for ambient lighting, not as the main light for a dark corner where you need to see. It's made with quality.
