You wouldn't believe that working in the R&D department of a toothbrush manufacturer can be very exciting. Does a toothbrush company actually need research and development? I assure you that this is a great achievement in the field of tooth brushing. I completely gave up my $100+ electric toothbrush for these things. They look ordinary - simpler than any brush I've seen since 1975. Not even the stubble is bright white. It has no moving parts, round head, cheek scrapers, gum massagers or tongue scrapers. However, you will feel the difference the first time you use it. To be honest, my gums were even a bit sensitive after the first few cleanings because it got perfectly between my teeth and under the gum line. Now I'm used to it and when I use a different brush my teeth just don't seem clean. It's amazing how such a simple brush can make you feel like you're at the dentist at first glance. The fact that it's antimicrobial is just a bonus!
