I've bought LED bulbs for a variety of applications, garage, headlight and interior lights and found that many of them didn't live up to their lumen rating. This work light does. The lowest setting of the COB LED (long) is bright enough for most under cabinet or under hood work. 2 other brighter settings are a bonus! The flashlight at the end isn't as bright, but it's adequate for the task. It stands fairly stable on its base and the hook is good. The magnet is pretty strong, but as mentioned, the second magnet doesn't allow for rotation when used horizontally. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and it's a great replacement for my old Craftsman work light that died.
