Good shorts but too small

I used to order shorts from Revain, Nike, Addidas, Rhone. All are large and fit me perfectly. I ordered these Under Armor shorts in a large size and they are too small for me. Waist 36 inches. Shorts are good. I like it better than the most expensive Rhone shorts I ordered at the same time. I will order again in size XL.
