I was looking for a pot-shaped dispenser to stand a 5 gallon water jug on for our domestic use during an entire home renovation where not only would we be losing our kitchen faucet temporarily but from time to time even water supply for the house (from a cistern). This item came up in those search results and I immediately liked that it costs less than half the cost of a pottery dispenser, less and therefore much easier to store for a long time after renovation, doesn't use batteries and is probably better for you to do so you have to turn a 5 gallon jar upside down for several months. We also have small, boisterous children in the house who I wanted to serve the water for, but was concerned about the stability of the pitcher on the stand. This product did not disappoint and I was asked to write this review because it was one of the best purchases we've made during this renovation! Super easy to use - very long runtime between charges. I've never completely phased it out, but it took a week of constant daily use before I felt like it might slow down if it never really stopped. The pressure of the jet is perfect for filling glasses and we even placed a jug next to the old sink that was still connected to the drain and when we needed to wash our hands with water we just pointed the faucet in that direction and he fell nicely into the hand-washing basin. I can easily see this coming in very handy when camping and even during power outages because as long as you have a battery to charge your phone, it can charge this thing. This is truly an amazing purchase at this price point. Looks like quality construction that should last a long time. We're entering our 3rd week of use (and remodeling.ugh) but this thing keeps us hydrated, hygienic and happy.
