While the belt section itself is quite good (good strong cotton material) the buckle and point of the belt are junk. served in the US military until 1980 (you know the one) who had all the holding power of three weak kittens. Swapped it out for a newer model that I kept in my late 80's gear. Also, the brass tip is poorly finished and barely attached to the webbing. Mine broke off on its own the first time I took the strap off. I had to bend the prongs again and press the piece back onto the webbing.
