When dealing with lots of cable lugs, the first thing that strikes you is the weight. You will be very light compared to others. Trunks are short and thin. And although I've crimped a few, I have a feeling the strongest connection is achieved by soldering. The stems are too flimsy and short for a good solid body, never worry about tension on the wire connection. You cannot double crimp with a hydraulic crimping machine because barrel lengths vary from 3/8 inch (6 AWG) to 1/2 inch (2 AWG). Keep this in mind when evaluating a proposed application.
