Review on Corner Degree Woodworking Hardware Adjustable by Adam Krueger

poor clamping performance; LIMITED POWER

Angle clamps are very handy when working with wood. Wood can be joined at right angles in a corner or in a "T" shape on the side, such as when a shelf is adjacent to a wall of bookshelves. You need to hold the joint in place to allow the glue to dry or to turn a screw, for example. Unfortunately, these special clamps are not suitable for woodworking. They rely on spring pressure and the work-contacting surfaces are smooth plastic, so the clamps don't hold securely. They aren't strong enough to help with furniture assembly and it's hard to imagine how useful they would be for even the small projects I do. Because the inner corner component can slide, the clamps can handle parts of different thicknesses, but options are very limited. The maximum opening of the clamps is just over 3/4 inch. Therefore, you cannot use them to clamp a beveled corner on even a medium-wide photo frame. Poor clamping performance and limited capacity make them a poor choice for woodworking.

Pros
  • ADJUSTABLE SIZE: 90 degree clamp has adjustable floating jaws and coated rotating spindle screws, suitable for 90 degree corner or T-joint, even assembling two boards of different thickness, can good for precise alignment and fixation be of workpieces.
Cons
  • Big and chunky
