The sound was ok, although I had hoped it would be a little louder. The original reason for buying this was because of a friend's Dewalt Bluetooth speaker. He will work multiple 12-hour shifts at work. This one could have lasted longer if it hadn't been for the clock. The best performance from a typical standard battery was around 7 hours. As soon as you turn on the speaker, the clock turns on. If you don't remove the battery, it stays on. In return, the battery is killed between uses. If I could remember to take out the battery after each use it wouldn't make much of a difference. But I can't, because I'm working and thinking about current tasks. For this reason I give this speaker 3 stars.
