📻 Ryobi P742 One+ Cordless 18V Lithium Ion Compact AM/FM Radio with Wireless Bluetooth Technology and Phone Charging (Battery Not Included - Radio Only) Review

I bought two of these to work with me and my Ryobi batteries. The first one lasted a month then died and I returned it. The second radio lasted 10 months with very little use and died. Now I have a beautiful light green paperweight. Thank you Ryobi!

The device came approx. Plain box 9x6x5. 2 loose AAA batteries and instructions in an unsealed plastic bag with the radio. I would like an answer on how the used radio was shipped after the premium was paid. Looking at other reviews it seems that Ryobi might not fix the device if it came from an unauthorized dealer when I need service. I've found that the radio appears to be working at this point, but I'd like to hear from the dealer what exactly they supplied (used, new, returned, etc.)…

I've read a lot of bad reviews about the range of this product but I decided to give it a try anyway and I'm glad I did. My husband loves this. We live in the outback with virtually no neighbors on the ranch. Even if he's tinkering around in the bunker, he still gets a signal underground. I love the portability and convenience of this radio. However, one of the first things I noticed is that the radio reception is not very good and the radio station suddenly disappears even though the radio is not moving. The sound was ok, although I had hoped it would be a little louder. The original reason for buying this was because of a friend's Dewalt Bluetooth speaker. He will work multiple 12-hour shifts at work. This one could have lasted longer if it hadn't been for the clock. The best performance from a typical standard battery was around 7 hours.
